Surah Name: An-Naba Meaning: The Announcement

bismillah

إِنَّ لِلْمُتَّقِينَ مَفَازًا

Inna lilmuttaqeena mafazan

Verily for the pious is an achievement.

 (78:31)

حَدَائِقَ وَأَعْنَابًا

Hadaiqa waaAAnaban

Gardens enclosed and vine-yards.

(78:32)

وَكَوَاعِبَ أَتْرَابًا

WakawaAAiba atraban

And full-breasted maidens of equal age.

(78:33)

وَكَأْسًا دِهَاقًا

Wakasan dihaqan

And an overflowing cup.

(78:34)

لَّا يَسْمَعُونَ فِيهَا لَغْوًا وَلَا كِذَّابًا

La yasmaAAoona feeha laghwan wala kiththaban

They will hear therein no babble or falsehood.

 

(78:35)

جَزَاء مِّن رَّبِّكَ عَطَاء حِسَابًا

Jazaan min rabbika AAataan hisaban

A recompense from your Rabb-SWT , a gift sufficient.

(78:36)

رَبِّ السَّمَاوَاتِ وَالْأَرْضِ وَمَا بَيْنَهُمَا الرحْمَنِ لَا يَمْلِكُونَ مِنْهُ خِطَابًا

Rabbi alssamawati waalardi wama baynahuma alrrahmani la yamlikoona minhu khitaban

From the Rabb-SWT of the heavens and the earth and of what is in-between, the Compassionate with whom they cannot demand audience.

(78:37)

يَوْمَ يَقُومُ الرُّوحُ وَالْمَلَائِكَةُ صَفًّا لَّا يَتَكَلَّمُونَ إِلَّا مَنْ أَذِنَ لَهُ الرحْمَنُ وَقَالَ صَوَابًا

Yawma yaqoomu alrroohu waalmalaikatu saffan la yatakallamoona illa man athina lahu alrrahmanu waqala sawaban

The Day whereon the souls and the angels will stand arrayed, they will not be able to speak, except whom the Compassionate gives leave and who speaks aright.

 (78:38)

ذَلِكَ الْيَوْمُ الْحَقُّ فَمَن شَاء اتَّخَذَ إِلَى رَبِّهِ مَآبًا

Thalika alyawmu alhaqqu faman shaa ittakhatha ila rabbihi maaban

That is the Sure Day. Let him who wills; seek a way back to his Rabb-SWT .

(78:39)

إِنَّا أَنذَرْنَاكُمْ عَذَابًا قَرِيبًا يَوْمَ يَنظُرُ الْمَرْءُ مَا قَدَّمَتْ يَدَاهُ وَيَقُولُ الْكَافِرُ يَا لَيْتَنِي كُنتُ تُرَابًا

Inna antharnakum AAathaban qareeban yawma yanthuru almaro ma qaddamat yadahu wayaqoolu alkafiru ya laytanee kuntu turaban

Verily We-SWT  have warned you of an imminent chastisement, a Day whereon a man will see what he has sent forth and the infidel will say: Would that I had been dust!

(78:40)

SECRETS OF REVELATION:

The Day of Reckoning will be a day of fulfilment for the devoted. They will enter orchards laden with clusters of grapes, and charming maidens of their age, and glasses abrim with drinks unheard of.

 

Hur 

Hur is a creature of Jannah, a beautiful woman, so dazzling that according to a Hadith, if she exposes her palm, its radiance will humble the sun. Among them will also be the believing women of this world. All men and women will be returned to an everlasting youth. The real honour will be for those women who believed in Allaah-SWT and His-SWT Prophet-SW, and obeyed them unwaveringly despite worldly turmoils and grief. Hurs will be their maid-servants, and because they did not go through the accountable temporal life, they will be subservient to the believing women and permissible for the men of Jannah.

 

In Jannah, no one will lie or gossip in vain. That is a place of reward, multiplied infinitely. Allaah-SWT is Supreme Sovereign, whose blessings are limitless. He-SWT shall reward so stupendously that the believers will be amazed to the hilt.

 

On the Day of Reckoning, Archangel Jibril-AS  and other angels will present the record, as desired by Allah-SWT, flawless and accurate. It will be the Day of Justice. So O’ people! If you wish to win, obey Him. You have been warned about the consequences of your conduct, which you will witness yourselves. When after the reckoning, animals and other creatures are returned to dust, the disbelievers will ruefully long for the same so as be spared the eternal torment. Therefore, to avoid such distressful end, embrace the Code of Life revealed to the Holy Prophet-SW.
